Principals of Interactive Media
This module discusses the different forms of media interactions possible.We explore and evaluate various IxD topics and Research Methods. The Module explains the problems of designing interactivity in narrative projects and the identification of key features of a well planned project. This knowledge will aid us in arguing our case for our selected design approach to our Thesis Project and illustrate our concept through the use of animations and video.
Throughout the year we undertook a group seminar demonstrating interactive design topics. We presented information regarding that topic and came up with an activity that the entire class could participate in.Our goal was to discuss an area of the topic we have chosen (preferably an area that would help the final project) and give the class an exercise that would engage them and inspire them to use in their own projects to aid a better final result. The top we chose was Visual Thinking. I decided the area of paper prototyping would fit well into this area and personally I believe it is a wonderful prototyping method. The flexibility and disposability of paper allows for ideas to change and flourish with cost and budget implications. Details of paper prototyping can be read in the supporting document below. Further research into the area can be found here on our wiki page.

Final Project Presentation
During the presentation for my final project I was to discuss my idea to develop a customisable mixed reality communication environment for individuals who do not have face-to-face interaction with one another, in particular emigrated parties. Areas in which we were presenting were;
- The Idea
- Target Audience
- Physical Location of the project
- The relationship between the project and Interaction Design?
- Relevant Papers
- Similar Projects
- Project Schedule
